Choosing a real estate agent is a lot like choosing a babysitter. You want someone experienced and recommended who answers your texts. Most of all, you want to trust them with something that really matters to you.
Your home is a big deal, whether you’re buying your first one, selling the one you raised your kids in, or moving here from somewhere else. The person guiding you through it matters more than people realize.
Here’s what I’d look for if I were in your shoes.
Real estate is hyperlocal. What’s happening in Royersford isn’t what’s happening in Oley, and pricing in Collegeville doesn’t follow the same rules as Birdsboro. Your agent should be able to explain why one house went under contract in four days and another sat for six weeks, without needing to look it up.
Ask how many homes they sold last year, what price range, and whether they worked with buyers, sellers, or both. You aren’t looking for the biggest number. You’re looking for someone who is active and has experience with situations like yours.
An agent who tells you everything is perfect isn’t doing you any favors. You want the person who will tell you when a list price is too high, when an offer won’t be competitive, or when it makes sense to wait.
Some people want a phone call. Some want a quick text. Some want everything in an email they can reread at 11pm. Ask how they usually communicate and how fast they respond. This one will make or break your experience.
Pre-approval, buyer agreements, appraisals, clear to close: there’s a lot to understand. A good agent makes you feel capable instead of confused.
Lenders, title companies, contractors, transaction coordinators: a great agent has good people on speed dial and keeps everyone moving toward the closing table.
You’ll be talking to this person a lot. Trust your gut.

I’ll answer my own questions.
I’ve been licensed since 2016, I hold a degree in Real Estate, and this is my full-time job. Real estate isn’t a side gig for me. It’s my career and something I love.
In 2025, I helped 21 families buy and sell homes, totaling about $9 million. My clients ranged from first-time buyers to buyers purchasing up to $1.5 million. I’ve seen a lot of different situations, and I bring that experience to every client.
I’m local in both directions. I grew up in Montgomery County and now live in Berks County with my husband and our two little ones. I spend most of my time in Pottstown, Collegeville, Royersford, Boyertown, Birdsboro, Fleetwood, Oley, Sinking Spring, and Mohnton. I know these towns as someone who lives here: the parks, the schools, and which streets get backed up at 8am.
I’ll be honest with you. If a house is overpriced, I’ll say so. If your offer needs adjusting, I’ll explain why. I show my reasoning so you never have to guess why I’m recommending something.
I have a great team behind me. I work closely with trusted lenders, title partners, and transaction coordinators, so your deal keeps moving and nothing falls through the cracks.
I work with anyone who needs a home. First-time buyers, sellers, people relocating, upsizing, downsizing, or just starting to think about it. My door is open.

Even if you’re months away from making a move, I’m happy to grab a coffee, answer your questions, and help you figure out what makes sense for you. No pressure, no obligation.
